Due to naturally occurring changes in our source water, some areas serviced by Rockett Special Utility District may experience discoloration or an organic odor due to excess mineral deposits.

Rockett is performing routine water system flushing to minimize the impact.

These are naturally occurring changes in our water source and the mineral content / color change do not pose a health threat.

Rockett continuously monitors water quality through rigorous testing protocols that meet or exceed Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) requirements.

DCI SANITATION ROLL OFF DO’S AND DON’TS

Items not allowed in Roll Off: 

· Air conditioners (unless Freon has been removed by a licensed professional, documentation is needed)

· Freezers (unless Freon has been removed by a licensed professional, documentation is needed)

· Refrigerators (unless Freon has been removed by a licensed professional, documentation is needed)

· Batteries 

· Cell phones 

· Computers 

· TV’s of any kind 

· Florescent lights (large quantities) 

· Hazardous Waste 

· Herbicides, Pesticides 

· Liquids (paint can be accepted if dried out and lids are off)

· PCB’s Infectious Waste 

· Tires (unless paying the additional charge)

· Used oil filters/Oil 

· Pool Chemicals 

· Totes/Drums – that contained chemicals or oil (burn barrels or totes used for trash are ok)
